Roadworld Clearing & Forwarding is a registered sub-broker to the South African Marine Underwriters. This ensures our client base has access to marine cargo insurance providers.
New laws imposed by FAIS (The Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 2002) state that only authorized financial service providers may sell financial products such as cargo marine insurance.
As such, while we cannot directly offer insurance cover to clients, we can put you in touch with our preferred marine insurance brokers, for comprehensive insurance on both import and export cargo.
Premiums are competitive and flexible, and are determined by a number of factors such as the commodity involved, mode of transport, packaging, value of the goods and past claims history.
Why insure marine cargo?
Marine Insurance provides protection for expensive commodities such as pharmaceutical products, electronics or machinery.
What are the risks involved?
